Services for Olivya Ann Arender, age 6, of Pineville will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville with the Reverend Russell Cobb of Word of Grace Ministries, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.
Olivya went to be with her Lord on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006 due to complications of Cystic Fibrosis. She was born on February 28, 2000 with a sweet and gentle spirit and love of life. Olivya attended J. I. Barron Elementary School and Kid Kollege Daycare in Pineville.
Olivya had bright blue eyes and a sweet smile and enjoyed singing, dancing, music, animals, people and loved Jesus. She was so very special to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. To quote her father, ``Olivya just made the world a better place!''
Olivya leaves to cherish her sweet memory her loving parents, Keith and Stacy Jenkins Arender, a loving brother, Kameron Arender, all of Pineville; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Pat Jenkins of Deville; paternal grandparents, Harry and Shirley Arender; paternal grandmother, Gay Nell Ballard, all of Pineville; aunt and uncle, Lisa Arender and Michael Dellenger; uncle, Brian Blake; uncle and aunt, Gregory and Karri Hough and their children, Julia and Kylie, all of Shreveport; uncle and aunt, Brandon and April Jenkins and their children, Abigail and Isabella of Pineville; numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006 and from 8 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
Pallbearers will be Brian Blake, Michael Dellenger, Jared Carrway and Jason Murrell.
