Graveside services for Mrs. Ollie Hardie Mount, age 69, of Jonesville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at McFarland Gurie Cemetery with Jack Cloclasure and Rev. Mack Walker officiating.
Mrs. Mount was born October 12, 1936 in Catahoula Parish. She died Thursday, February 11 2006 at her residence in Jonesville.
Mrs. Mount loved her grandchildren. She was an avid outdoorsmen who loved to fish.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Scabrum “S.D.” Dale Mount; father, Claude Hardie; mother-Dafna Hardie; and sister, Marleen Poole
Survivors include son, Seab Mount, II and wife Roxie of Jonesville; daughters, Mona Davis Granger and husband Henry of Jonesville, Susan Benoit and friend Bobby Creel of Jonesville and Julie M. Colclasure and husband Kevin of Jonesville; brother, Tubbie Hardie and wife Mary of Fredrickburg, Texas; brother, Cloyd Hardie and wife Betty of Jonesville; grandchildren, Ryan Edwards, Jade Colclasure, Wes White, Demi Edwards, Blake Cloclasure, Sage Mount, Sawyer Mount, Justin Granger and extended grandchild Justin Barker.
The honorary pallbearer will be Darrell White, Sr.
The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Home, Jonesville, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2006.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or the American Cancer Association.
