Olya Jean Flemmons
Funeral services for Olya Jean Flemmons, age 80, of Rosenberg, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2007, at the Graeber Road Church of Christ, 1910 Graeber Road in Rosenberg with Mr. Allen Hahn officiating. The burial service will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Flemmons passed away Monday, August 13, 2007, at Oak Bend Hospital in Richmond. She was born January 25, 1927, the daughter of Arthur and Sybil Cundiff in Seagoville, Texas. She was a Rosenberg resident for many years and a member of Graeber Road Church of Christ. She was the assistant manager of Stop and Shop #2 for 14 years.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leonard Flemmons; daughter, Jerry Snyder and husband, Joe, of Orlando, Florida; daughter Deby Trosper and husband, Steve, of Wasilla, Alaska; son Jim Flemmons and wife, Kellee, of Round Rock, Texas; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Memorials gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
