Ora Lee Fain

JONESBORO, LA. - Services for Mrs. Ora Lee Fain, of Jonesboro, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday August 9 at the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, where she was a member. Dr. Herb Dickerson will officiate. Burial will be at Jonesboro Cemetery under the direction of Edmond's Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Mrs. Fain died Tuesday evening August 6, 1985, at Carter's Nursing Home in Jonesboro after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Fain, who was postmaster in Jonesboro for 30 years. She was born in Jonesboro and belonged to the Dugdemona Chapter of the National Society of the D.A.R. She was a genealogist and a member of Crescent Chapter No. 64 of O.E.S. She was active in the W.M.U. and was a Sunday school teacher.

She is survived by one brother, Joseph Arnold Reed of Arkansas; three sisters, Medora Lashlee of Abilene, Texas, Mary Lou Russell of Palm Desert, Calif. and Earline Earhart of San Angelo, Texas.
