LOUISE TERRELL NEWTON

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 3, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty for Louise Terrell Newton, 93, of Liberty. Bro. Burnett Carraway and Bro. Merrill Blalock officiated. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery, with Newman Funeral Home of Centreville in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Steven Koonce, Don Koonce, Keith Fowler, Kent Fowler, Kris Fowler and Kent Fowler, Jr.

Ms Newton passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011, at her home with several of her family members with her.

Born August 25, 1918, in Liberty, Ms Newton was the daughter of Robert Terrell and Bessie Reynolds Terrell, both deceased.

In addition to her parents, Ms Newton was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Morris E. Newton; two brothers, Julius Terrell and Lee Russell Terrell; one sister, Mary Newman; and one great-grandson, Jeremy Fowler.

Ms Newton leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Morris E. Newton, Jr. and daughter-in-law Margaret; two daughters, Betty Ashley and son-in-law Bobby, and Dorothy Fowler and son-in-law Bill; grandsons, Steven Koonce and wife Kelly, Don Koonce and wife Sherie, Keith Fowler and wife Carla, Kent Fowler and wife Shelia and Kirs Fowler and wife Donna; granddaughters, Dawn Morf and husband Nick and Karen Jones and husband Gary; great-grandchildren, Kent Fowler Jr., David Boudreaux, Kolton Fowler and Kara Fowler; two brothers, Wallace Terrell and wife Otheal and Clifton Terrell and wife Katherine; and many nieces and nephews.

The family is so thankful for the loving care for their mother that Hospice of McComb gave and also the angel Michelle Hastings for being there and getting us through this difficult time.
