DEATHS

WAYNESBORO -- Funeral of O. W. Walker, 71, who died at his home near here, after an illness of a few days from pneumonie [sic pneumonia], was held Wednesday afternoon at the Baptist Church, the Rev. R. G. Joiner, the pastor, conducting the servicess [sic services].

He is survived by his wife, eight daughters, Mrs. John Bunch, Clara, Mrs. Mattie Lucas, (of this county), Mrs. Charley Tucker (Louisville), Mrs. Kate Stewart (Wayne oCunty [sic County], Mrs. Maud Tanner (Meridian), Mrs. Lester Whitaker (Texas), and Mrs. Billie Childs (Los Angeles); three sons, Ira Walker, Bidmer Walker (Wayne County) and Roy Walker (Langsdale). He is also survived by one brother, Henry Walker.
