Orville Warren

Funeral services for Mr. Orville ``Scooter'' Warren, 68, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at Mt. Zion Church at Driskell Mountain with the Rev. E.D. Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Driskell Cemetery on Driskell Mountain under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia.

Mr. Warren, a resident of Simsboro, passed away Monday, June 24, at his residence. He was a retired miner.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Clay Warren; and brother, Darrel J. Warren.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Warren of Simsboro; mother, Marguerite Warren of Oklahoma City, Okla.; son, Jimmy Clay Warren of Mustang, Okla.; daughters, Cheryl Cooley of Yukon, Okla., Oleta Kay Carter of Virginia Beach, Va.; brother, Jack Warren of Houma; sisters, Glynda Chism of Oklahoma City, Gaye Warren of Bay City, Texas; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Allen, Michael Hicks, Brandon Allen, Carl Driskell, Walter Driskell, and Ron Cooley.
