O.B. ``Red'' Anderson
GREENWOOD -- O. B. ``Red'' Anderson, age 86, died on Thursday July 08, 2010 at his Residence. He was born on March 11, 1924 to the late Bailey and Sarah Anderson. He was born in Smith County and resided in Greenwood most of his life. He was a member and deacon of the Valley Hill Baptist Church for over 40 years. He was a Mason, Shriner, and a US Navy Veteran of WW II and Korea.
Visitation will be held on Sunday 07/12/2010 2:00 PM to 07/12/2010 5:00 PM at the Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral Services will be held Monday 07/12/2010 10:00 AM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS with the Rev Bob Blakely officiating. Burial will be at the Tuscola Cemetery on 07/12/2010 at 2:00 PM.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Harris, Andy Sutton, Ben Sutton, Jack Lishman, Howard Blakely, and Albert Williams. Honorary Pallbearer will be Johnny Nichols.
He is survived by Wife, Jimmie Anderson of Greenwood, MS. Daughter, Joan (Jerry) Harris of Greenwood, MS. Daughter, Bonnie (Rick) Sutton of Loveland, CO. Son, Don Anderson of Greenwood, MS. Brother, Wallace Anderson of LA. Grandchild, Dr Connie Harris Grandchild, Andy Sutton, Grandchild, Ben Sutton. Grandchild, Justin Anderson. Great Grandchild, Sarah Scurti.
Williams and Lord is in charge.
