Mother of Two Here Succumbs

Mrs. Paralee Tyler, 70, of Pleasant Hill, mother of two local residents, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in a Converse hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at a time to be announced later in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Cecil Salley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Cemetery at Wallace under direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Forrest of Bossier City, Bernice Coats of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Lorraine Sellers of Amarillo, Tex.; seven sons, R. Paul Tyler of Shreveport, Douglas Tyler of Lake Charles, Homer T. Tyler of Longview, Tex., Mark Tyler of Mansfield, Alton Tyler with the U.S. Air Force at San Antonio, Tex., L. C. Butler of Lufkin, Tex., and L. J. Tyler of Baton Rouge; one stepson, James Tyler of Shreveport; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jan McDonald of Bossier City, and Mrs. Zoe McCain of Shreveport; several brothers and sisters; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
