Patricia Abel

Patricia A. “Pat” Abel of Bend, formerly of Eugene, died Aug. 11 of cancer. She was 66. No service is planned.

She was born July 19, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to Louis and Juanita Tarver Epplett. She married Robert Abel in December 1964 in Eugene. He died previously.

She graduated from South Eugene High School in 1961 and attended the University of Colorado. She was the owner and operator of Simply Magic, a retail store on Broadway in Eugene.

Survivors include a son, Rick of Klamath Falls; a brother, Richard Epplett of Bend; and two grandchildren.
