Hustead's Services Set Today In City
Funeral for Patrick Floyd Hustead, 79, a former Lubbock resident, was to be conducted at 2 p.m. today in W. W. Rix Chapel with the Rev. J. E. Whisenant, pastor of Temple Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was to be in City of Lubbock Cemetery with Rix Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Hustead, of Rt. 3, Amarillo, died about 8 a.m. Monday in the Veteran's Hospital in Amarillo.
He resided in Lubbock from 1911 until 1956. During that time he farmed the Summers Ranch, which is now Texas Tech property.
Survivors include a son, Floyd of Amarillo; a daughter, Mrs. W. H. Melton of Texarkana; two sisters, Mrs. Burn Gibson of Mansfield and Mrs. Burt Tingle of Fort Worth; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Spencer Tipton, Wayne Goodpasture, William Goodpasture, Allen Hagens, George Marshall and Clyde Reams.
