Ogden Rites Slated Today

JONESVILLE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy A. Ogden, 32, of Jonesville, will be at 3 p.m. today at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Danny Chance officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Whitehall under direction of Young's Funeral Home. Mrs. Ogden died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Concordia Parish Hospital at Ferriday after an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the Concordia Parish sheriff's office.

Survivors include her husband, John Ogden of Jonesville; one son, Wade Brown of Jonesville; two sisters, Mrs. Brenda Gail Mason of LaPlace and Mrs. Linda Nell Massengale of Destrahan; two brothers, Doyle Butler of Jonesville and Darell Butler of Harrisonburg; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Butler of Harrisonburg; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lottie Emmons of Harrisonburg.
