Infant Claimed By Death After Drinking Poison
Little Patsy Earl Jones, 15 months and 12 days old, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, at
3:30 p.m. in the Amarillo, Texas hospital where she had been taken a short
time before her death.
Funeral services were held at the Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Winn Parish
at 3 o'clock last Friday with the Rev. R. B. Kitchingham in charge. Interment
was in the Cypress Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were L. Moffett, Austin Jones, Herbert Moffett, and Wiley Jones.
The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jones of White Deer, Texas, her
death was the result of a poison liquid which she had accidentally drunk in a
grocery store at two o'clock on the day of her death. She was born May 27,
1941.
Little Patsy Earl is survived by her parents and one brother, Thomas Lynn
Jones of White Deer, Texas; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Temple of Cypress
Creek and S. D. Jones of Jasper, Texas; and two great grandmothers, Mrs. W.
E. Jones and Mrs. A. C. Jones of Dodson, Route 2.
