Patsy Amos went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2005. She was born on May 14, 1942, in Gladewater, Texas to James ``Mott'' Walker and Nora Estelle Medlin. Patsy was a bus driver for Spring Hill ISD for 15 years and a member of the Community of Christ Church in White Oak, Texas.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Duane Amos; sons, James C. White and his wife, Deidre, of Spring Hill, James David ``JW'' White and his wife, Trisha, of White Oak, Jimmy E. White and his wife, Jena Sue, of Spring Hill, Larry Lee White of Spring Hill, Timothy Amos and his wife, Leslie, of Gilmer, and Robert Amos of Longbeach, Calif.; daughters, Peggy Patterson and her husband, Roger, of Dallas, Shirley Ballard and her husband, Joel, of Spring Hill, and Linda Willeford and her husband, Clay, of Jefferson; brother, Jimmy Walker of Seven Pines; sisters, Lavern Chaplan of Spring Hill, Marie Brown of New Summerfield, and Margie Fischer of East Mountain; and 18 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation today, October 16, 2005, from 2-4 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, October 17, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Spring Hill First Baptist Church with LeRoy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Alliance of Northeast Texas or Greater Hospice of Longview and Tyler.
