PATRICK, Patsy

SUMTER, SC -- Patsy Watson Patrick, 75, widow of George L. Patrick, Sr., died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at her home. Born in Louisiana, she was a daughter of the late Roy Watson and the late Ruby Langley Watson. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was retired from Campbell Soup Company and was an Avon representative for many years.

Survivors include five children, George L. Patrick, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Charleston, Douglas E. Patrick, Sr., Janet P. Watts and her husband, Tommy, Susan K. Patrick, and Dennis R. Patrick, Sr. all of Sumter; four sisters, De Mettrice Prigelmeier and her husband, Otto, of Moorhead, MN, Lori Boyd and her husband, Ed Boyd, Jr., and Jackie Johnson, all of Corpus Christi, TX, and Barbara Jameson of Garland, TX; six grandchildren, Nichole Watts, Dennis R. D.J. Patrick, Jr., Amanda Patrick, Douglas E. P.J. Patrick, Jr., and Denise Mary Nicole Patrick, all of Sumter, and David Patrick of Charleston; and a close and dear friend, Miriam Mema Hodge.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny O. Watson.

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Thursday at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. John Baughn and the Rev. Jim Palmer officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2913 Bayside Drive.
