Aged Grayson Woman Buried Welcome Home

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Pauline Meredith McKeithen, 82-year-old Caldwell Parish resident, were held on Sunday, September 15, 1968, in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia.

Rev. Jim Saunders, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Grayson, was in charge of the services, assisted by Rev. Wayne Grey.

Interment was made in the Welcome Home Cemetery near Grayson, under direction of the Riser and Son Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Ronnie Biggs, Morris McKeithen, Garland Bates, Grady Bates, Bill Herring and Leon Sykes.

Survivors are seven children: Mrs. Moise Saucier of Shreveport, Mrs. Edythe Walters of Monroe, Mrs. Theresia Head of Gulfport, Miss; Mrs. Florence Bates of Boyce, Mrs. Naomi M. Biggs of Kelly, Mrs. Joyce Carr of Port Lavaca, Texas; O. A. McKeithen of LaMesa, California; one brother, Clarence P. Meredith of Grayson, and twenty-two grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Mrs. McKeithen was born and reared in Caldwell Parish and resided with her late husband, Lige McKeithen, in Grayson for many years.
