Pauline C. Rollins Reeves, 89, of Gloster, died Dec. 20, 2007, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb.
Visitation was Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster and continues today at 1 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in the Oxford Community near Gloster until services there at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Stacey McCullough officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Mrs. Reeves was born Feb. 8, 1918, in Gloster, the daughter of Emmit and Mary Whittingon Rollins. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Britt Reeves; two grandchildren, Missy and Bo Reeves; four brothers, Judd Rollins, Street Rollins, Carl Rollins and Mann Rollins; and three sisters, Audie Guice, Neva Whittington and Nina Jackson.
Survivors include three sons, Victor Marcell Reeves, and Ronald Britt Reeves and wife Aleska all of Gloster, and Leslie Darrell Reeves and wife Sue of Natchez; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, May Lula Whittington and Ching Whittington, both of Baton Rouge.
