Pauline Sykes McNeil, 80, of Bay Springs, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Antioch Baptist Church in Louin with burial in the church cemetery. A homemaker, she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alton McNeil; daughter, Margaret Pauline McNeil; and two sons, George Burdett McNeil and Dennis Ray McNeil.
She is survived by three sons, George Vinson McNeil of Raleigh, Donald Mitchell McNeil of Stringer, and Charles Edison McNeil of Bay Springs; two daughters, Kathy Pugh of Louin and Cindy Bass of Mize; one brother, Henry Sykes of Jackson; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
