START, LA - Services for Permelia Page Alexander Meyer, 79, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2001 at Bistineau Baptist Church with Rev. C. L. Bourn of Shreveport, LA officiating. Burial will be in Bistineau Cemetery, Heflin, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Meyer died Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at Richardson Medical Center. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Rayville, LA.

Survivors are daughters, Beverly Herron and husband, Robert and Glenda Hall all of Start, LA; one son, Horace Alexander and wife, Elaine of Lawton, OK; sister, Oleta McMillan of Baskin, LA; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Alexander; sons, Robert Lloyd Alexander and Lawrence Raymond Alexander and grandson, Larry Alexander.

Pallbearers will be Lavelle McMillan, Jerry Williams, Roger Poole, Martin Poole, Percy Alexander, Jr. and Russell Alexander.
