Perry E. Taylor, 43, died in a sanitarium in Shreveport last Wednesday, and the remains were brought back to his old home parish and laid to rest in the Welcome Home cemetery near Grayson.

Mr. Taylor was born and reared in Caldwell parish, ward 5; he was a son of Mrs. S. M. Taylor, who is making her home with her daughter, Mrs. F. L. Gregory on the Eastside. For the past year he had made his home on the Gregory plantation, but two months ago made a trip to Shreveport where he suffered a paralysis stroke; he was then taken to a sanitarium in that city where his death came Wednesday.

Funeral services were held Thursday in charge of Rev. V. D. Morris and Rev. J. D. Kitchingham. Interment was made in the Welcome Home cemetery Thursday afternoon.
