MARTIN, PETE of Seagoville, was born July 9, 1924 in Combine, TX and passed away May 19, 2003 at his home in Seagoville, TX. He was a deacon of First Baptist Church in Seagoville.

Survived by children, Joyce Byford, Seagoville, TX and Gary Martin, Abilene, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Byford, Amy Martin, Marla Martin, Charles Byford and Eugene Byford; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Burden, Gun Barrel, TX and Geneva Baggett, Duncanville, TX; sister-in-law, Vivian Martin; brother-in-law, Vernon Killen.

Preceded in death by wife, Robbie Melba Martin, February 2, 2001 and brothers, Carl Martin and Albert Martin.

Services 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 22, 2003 at First Baptist Church with interment following at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation 6 to 8:00 P.M Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Roselawn Cemetery Funeral Home 1000 S. Highway 175 Seagoville 972-287-2121.
