Phillip D. Roberts
Phillip D. Roberts, 68, resident of 115 Adams street, Monroe, died in a local hospital early Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10:00 at the Oakley Cemetery, near Gilbert, La. Interment under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home was in the Oakley Cemetery, Rev. A. W. Coody officiating.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. B. W. Stephens, Wisner; Mrs. Jack Harratt [sic Jarratt], Gilbert; three brothers, W. S. Roberts, Greenville, Tex., Ransom Roberts, Greenville, Tex.; and Sam Roberts, Eureka, Calif.
Pallbearers were C. C. Stephens, E. E. Roberts, Aubrey Roberts and Julian Stephens.
