Pinckney Lee Dark
Graveside services for Pinckney Lee Dark, 91, of Winnsboro, were held on Friday, May 20, at Ogden Cemetery, with the Rev. Bruce Cardin officiating.
A native of Winn Parish, he was born May 3, 1897. He was a postmaster and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church. He died on May 19, 1988, following a brief illness.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Bennett Dark, Winnsboro; one daughter, Wanda D. Madden, Ruston; three sisters, Mrs. Bobbye McGraw, Shreveport, Mrs. Willie Ferguson, Ferriday and Mrs. Audie Knight, San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren, Monica L. Madden and Will L. Madden III and a host of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers were J. C. Bennett, C. D. Bennett, Will Madden, Jr., Charlie Ray Jennings.
