Graveside services for Mr. Prentice L. Dunn will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Boyt officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Prentice L. Dunn, 88, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Colonial Nursing Home in Marksville, Louisiana

Mr. Dunn was a Veteran of WWII. He proudly served in the United States Navy & the United States Army. He was a retired detective of the Rapides Parish and Winn Parish Sheriff's Departments.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Beavers Dunn.

Those left to cherish his memory are his four children, Roy Dunn, Gary Dunn, Rhonda Abate, and Regina Pitman. As well as five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
