PRESTRIDGE SR., QUINCY D. ``PETE''
Died 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 1991, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 92 and a native of Standard. He was a retired Allied Chemical hoistering engineer, with 18 years of service and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War I.
Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 9:30 a.m. to religious services at 3 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. John Causey. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Survived by two sons, Quincy D. Prestridge Jr., Beaumont, Texas, and Richard D. Prestridge Sr., Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, Richard Prestridge Jr., Lafayette, Vicki Prestridge, Baton Rouge, Cathy Prestridge, Jackson, Miss., Laurie Jordan, Avon, Conn., Julie Prestridge, Baton Rouge, and June P. Prestridge, Atlanta, Ga.; and a great-grandson, Christopher Prestridge, Lafayette.
Preceded in death by wife of 50 years, Lennie Bradford Prestridge.
He was a member of Brownsfield Baptist Church and charter member of Istrouma Lodge No. 414, F&AM
