Quinnie Beavers Arceneaux
A homemaker, a native of Sikes and a resident of Baton Rouge, Quinnie died at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Flannery Oaks Guest House at age 95.
Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Friday, June 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until the religious service in the chapel at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Sam Maranto. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by a daughter, Laine M. Neumann and husband Robert A., of Grapevine, Texas; three sons, Paul F. ``Pete'' Arceneaux Jr. and wife Garnette, of Baton Rouge, Thomas A. Arceneaux and wife Mary, of Greenwell Springs, and Michael J. Arceneaux and wife Susan, of Fairfax, Va.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Quinnie was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Arceneaux Sr.; three sisters, Lyda Burford, Lola Ellzey and Leola Lafayette Hinton; and four brothers, Hanford, Orland, Al and Dewisse Beavers.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ric, Paul, Jason, Brian, Andre and Allen Arceneaux.
She was a member of St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church.
