RAIFORD J. ANDERS

Funeral services were held Friday, September 23, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster for Raiford J. Anders, 86, of Centreville. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery in Centreville.

Mr. Anders passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Field Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville.

Born May 23, 1925, in Gloster, Raiford J. Anders was the son of Henry and Carrie Reeves Andres [sic Anders], both deceased.

Raiford J. Anders was a route salesman for Holsum Bread and was also employed by Vines Brothers.

In addition to his parents, Raiford J. Anders was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Kemp Anders; a son, Ray Anders; and a grandchild, April Renee Simpson.

Raiford J. Anders leaves behind to cherish his memory, two daughters, Sandra J. Abry and husband George of Pontchatoula, Louisiana, and Lori L. Simpson and husband Jimmy of Centreville; granchildren, Nickolas Anders and wife Christian, Justin Simpson and wife Sally, Ricky Simpson and wife Crystal, Cliff Anders, Drew Abry, Mark Abry and Kelly Simpson; great-grandchildren, Madison Simpson, Brayden Simpson, Scarlett Anders and John Nick Anders; a brother, Bryan Anders of Gloster; and a sister, Adine Wilson of Arkansas.
