MONROE -- Services for Ralph L. Pippins will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bonita Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Isaac Patton officiating. Burial will be in Bonita Cemetery. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. today in Pisgah Baptist Church, Forest Hill. Arrangements will be under direction of Mulhearn, Monroe.
Pippins, 76, of Forest Hill died Saturday, May 17, 1997, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Alexandria.
He was a veteran of World War II and an ex-POW. He was a native of Franklin Parish.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Doles Pippins of Forest Hill; two sons, Michael Ralph Pippins of Baton Rouge and Robert Lance Pippins of Forest Hill; one sister, Bobbie McGraw of Shreveport; three half brothers, Walter Pippins of Houma, Earl Pippins and Harold Pippins; one stepsister, Jeannette Hood of Victoria, Texas.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
