Partin, Sr., Services To Be Held in Clinton

Ralph Partin, Sr., former marshal of Clinton, died yesterday at 6:20 p.m. at the Clinton infirmary after a short illness. The body will remain at the Charlet Funeral home from which services will be conducted at 3 p.m.

Religious rites will follow at the Clinton Methodist church with the Rev. D. B. Boddle officiating. Interment will be in the Masonic cemetery at Clinton.

Pall bearers include Jules Guglielmo, William Dennis, Monroe, Tillman, Harry Priest, James Collins, and Dewey Crum.

Partin was a member of the American Legion. A former resident of Amite county Miss., he was a resident of Clinton for the past 26 years, and had recently been named marshal.

He is survived by his wife, the former Clara Maud Crum; one son, Ralph jr., of Clinton; two daughters, Mrs. Jules Guglielmo of Lake Charles, and Mrs. William Dennis of Bogalusa. In addition , he is survived by five sisters: Mrs. Ida Collins of New Orleans, Mrs. Nannie Metcalfe, Mrs. Effie Priest, and Mrs. Johnnie Priest, all of Wilkinson, Miss., and Mrs. Lee Tillman of Baton Rouge; two brothers: Grady of Wilkinson, Miss., and Lamar of Baton Rouge.
