Raphael Weinandt

RAPHAEL D. WEINANDT Born June 22, 1932 in Fordyce, Nebraska. Passed away at his home in West Hills, Tuesday, February 17, 2004. ``De'' proudly served his country in the United States Navy during t he Korean Conflict. He was a local businessman and had many friends and acquaintances in the community. He was an initial parishioner and usher of long-standing at St. Bernardines Catholic Church in West Hills.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; son, Robert; step-son, John Chanslor; grandson, Jason Chanslor; granddaughter, Jessica Weinandt; sisters, Del Rae Dickes, Vi Atchinson and Maurita Diehl; brother, Gerard; nephew, Bryan Weinandt; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins in the Midwest, Louisiana, Arizona and California. We will grieve.

Mass will be held at St. Bernardines Catholic Church, Friday, February 20, 2004, 3:00 p.m. Donations may be made in De's name to Tender Loving Care Home Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Burial to be in Fordyce, Nebraska.
