Ray Andes

On December 13, 2008 Ray Andes , 88, went to be with the love of his life Irene.
Graveside Services were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home.
Rusty Hancock, Pastor, Lincoln Street Baptist Church , Dalhart, Texas officiated.
Ray is survived by 2 Sisters in law, 1 daughter, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren 3 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. and dear friends he considered family.
He is preceded in death by his Wife, Parents, daughter Wilma Ashby and son Larry Andes.
Ray Harve Andes was born March 20, 1920 in Clarksville, TX to James and Zora (Griffin) Andes. On July 14, 1938 he married Irene Hale in Edinburg, TX. They moved to Dalhart in 1958. Ray spent most of his life working in the Panhandle area. He loved people, visiting, helping his friends and his renters, and caring for and raising chickens. ``I spend most of my time doing nothing and some days I don't even get that done'' Ray Andes
