Ray J. Rayner
Ray J. Rayner, 79, Brandenburg, died July 10, 2011, at his residence.
He was a retired United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era, and a member of the Meade County Classic Cruisers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Tressie Boyd Rayner; a sister, Vernell Kennedy; and a brother, Joe Rayner.
Mr. Rayner is survived by his wife, Jean Rayner, Brandenburg; a daughter and her husband, Cheryl and Eric Andersen, Elizabethtown; two brothers and their wives, Troy and Evalyn Rayner and Ray and Angie Rayner, both of Bay Springs, Miss.; and a sister and her husband, Bobbie and Curtis Jernigan, Taylorsville, Miss.
Funeral services were held July 13, from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home, with Chaplain Michael Wood, officiating.
Burial with military honors, was in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
