A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Rosewood Funeral Home, Humble, Texas.

Obituary

Died September 15, 2010

He was born October 28, 1914 in Moonshine Hill near Humble, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lois L. Lowe
Father, Walter E. Lowe and Mother Ethel S. Lowe and Brothers Vernon & Welton Lowe.

He worked in the oil field in Conroe, Texas until his transfer to East Texas. Making Buna, Texas his home. This is where he met and married Lois.

He and Lois enjoyed their home for years and helped raise Granddaughter, Cher. Later Ray's health declined and Lois spent her time caring for Ray and taking him to Doctors. They were moved to Conroe during Hurricane Rita and was to stay at his Grandson Keith and wife Betty's home.

Lois died 7 days after their move. Ray then moved into Ray Jr. and Kay's home for 4 1/2 years then his move was to the Shady Acres Personal Home for care by their staff and Compassionate Care Hospice.

Ray Lowe, Sr. is survived by sons, Ray Lowe, Jr. and wife Kay, Sherman Wagner and wife Beatrice. Stepsons, Vernon Hamby and wife Louise, Lee Hamby and wife, and James Johnson.
Stepdaughters, Yvonne Hull, and Lydia Francine Johnson.
Grandsons, Keith Lowe and wife Betty, Kevin Lowe and wife Laura. Granddaughter, Rachel and husband John Lara.
Also a number of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
