Rayford Whittington
The Revs. Gillis Ezell and Jerry Hunt were to officiate at funeral services for Rayford Lee "Ray" Whittington, 74, of Winnsboro today at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Oakley Cemetery at Gilbert.
Mr. Whittington died Thursday morning in the Caldwell Parish Hospital at Columbia after a lengthy illness.
A retired farmer, Mr. Whittington was a member of the Turkey Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Roxie McIntyre of Baskin and Mrs. Ivy Aswell of Vidalia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
