Raymon Kelly

STANTON (RNS) -- Funeral for Raymon Albert Kelly, 65, will be Thursday at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Stanton with the Rev. W. H. Ulman, pastor, and Rev. Lee Rivest, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.

Mr. Kelly died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Physician's Hospital.

He was born March 20, 1904, in Huckaby [sic Huckabay] and moved to Stanton in 1925 from Colorado City. He married Miss Ora May [sic Mae] Cornelius in Midland Aug. 5, 1926.

Survivors include his wife of Stanton; two sons, Hubert Ray of Willits, Calif. and Tommie Gene of Stanton; three daughters, Mrs. Colleen Garcia of Stanton, Mrs. Marlene Higgins of Abilene and Mrs. Joyce May [sic Mae] Ponder of Beaumont; five sisters, Mrs. Rosa Holt of Hurst, Mrs. Lottie Farrar of Antone [sic Anton], Mrs. Ruby Carr of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Elfie Felts of Colorado City and Mrs. Dessie Jones of Snyder; five brothers, A. A. Kelly of Amarillo, J. J. Kelly of Fort Worth, Odie Kelly of Brownsfeild [sic Brownfield], Ras Kelly of Idalu [sic Idalou] and Fred Kelly of Lubbock; 18 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
