Raymond Colvin Dies on Sunday
Buried Monday

Thomas Raymond Colvin, aged 60, was buried monday in Cootown Cemetery. He died at his home following a heart attack at 5:15 p.m. Sunday. He was a life-long resident of Lincoln Parish and widely known in this area.

Funeral services were held in the Emmanuel Baptist Church at 10:30 with the Rev. A. H. Johnson and the Rev. J. O. Payne officiating. Kilpatrick Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his wife Mrs. Bernice Payne Colvin, Ruston; two sons, John of Ruston and Joe of Jackson, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Johnson of Jackson, Miss. and Mrs. Raymond Moore of Pensacola, Fla.; four sisters, Mrs. B. J. Taylor, Ruston, Mrs. Rosine Reeves of Battleground, Wash., Mrs. W. H. Carter and Mrs. Willis Pipes of Ruston.

Mr. Colvin was a veteran of the first World War, member of the American Legion, charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and president of the Colvin Hunting Club of Tallulah, La.

Pallbearers were Paul Williamson, Charles Colvin, Otho Taylor, Joe Gibson, Fred Duggan, J. T. Burgess, Claude Reader and Pres Colvin.
