Mr Raymond J. Landrum
Funeral services for Raymond Landrum of Kemp, Texas were held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 8, 2008 at the Anderson Clayton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Kemp with Mr. R.J. Stevens and Mr. Tim Stevens officiating. Interment followed in the King Cemetery near Kemp under the direction of Anderson Clayton Brothers Funeral Home of Kemp.
John Raymond Landrum was born September 27, 1910 in Aley, Texas to the late Otha Torbin and Maude Thornton Landrum and passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 in Kemp. He married Ima Faye Goodman on June 17, 1933 and she preceded him in death on September 25, 1988. Raymond was a member of the Kemp Church of Christ for several years and was retired from the City of Grand Prairie.
Surviving Mr. Landrum are his Son John Landrum and his wife Shirley of Kemp; Grandchildren, Karen McDougald and her husband Lynn and Jonna Cook and her husband Randy Sears of Kemp and Ed and John Schaffer of Kansas; Great Grandchildren Sabrina Garrison and Chris McBride of Kerens, Heather McDougald of Kemp, John David Cook of Kemp, Cody Cook of Kemp and Chase Sears of Kemp and great great grandson Tyson Garrison of Kerens as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Lynn McDougald, Randy Sears, John David Cook, Cody Cook, Dee Thompson and Gene Bufkin. Honorary pallbearers were Tyson Garrison and Chase Sears.
