Reuben Evan Oxford

Services for Reuben Evan Oxford were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Hixson Bros. with the Rev Carey Froelich officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Steve Oxford, Barry Fulton, Marvin Smith, Danny Lewis, Ellis Denning and Ralph Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Flora Smith Oxford of Alexandria; one son, Robert J. Oxford of Denver, Colo.; one stepson, Bobby G. Smith of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. W. B. Fulton of Laurel, Miss., and Betty O. Mason of Denton, Texas; three sisters, Dolly Douglas of Monroe, Berta Colvin of Dubach and Betty Oxford of Bernice and seven grandchildren.
