Revis Homer Lewis

Graveside services for Mr. Revis Homer Lewis, 81, will be at 2:00 p.m. Tues., Feb. 9, 1982 at Centuries Memorial Park, officiated by Rev.James Messer, pastor of Kelly Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel.

Mr. Lewis was born at New Salem, Texas, and was a resident of Shreveport since 1923. He was a retired carpenter and was a Baptist. He died Sun. Feb. 7 at Willis Knighton Medical Center after a long illness.

Survivors include his widow; Mrs. Rubye Young Lewis, Shreveport; two sons, J. Norman Lewis and Michael K. Lewis, Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Dennis, Palestine, Texas, Mrs. Jessie Lively, Grapeland, Texas; a brother, Elton Lewis, Odessa, Texas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Eddie McGowen, Bill Penington, Joe Burroughs, Jerry Corie, Gene Dunning and Walter M. White.
