PFEIFER, REYNOLD V. “RAY”

A retired Exxon Co. USA pipe fitter and Baton Rouge Vo-Tech pipe fitter instructor, he died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1995, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home. He was 82, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of North Dakota. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 9 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Don McDowell. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Survived by wife, Jean Dupuy Pfeifer; a daughter, Marlene Moran, Sheldon, Mo.; two stepsons, Stephen Wickboldt Sr., Baton Rouge, and Richard Wickboldt Jr., Gulfport, Miss.; four sisters, Phylis Long, Violet Beier, Ruth Scott and Rosaline Jorgenson; a brother, Arthur Pfeifer; three grandchildren, Stephen Wickboldt Jr., Richard Wickboldt III and Kimberly Wickboldt.

Preceded in death by first wife, Mary Lurline Cox; parents, Jacob and Minnie Schanz Pfeifer; stepmother, Karoline Pfeifer; and a brother, Harold Pfeifer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Lung Association.
