RICHARD LOUIS MUIRHEAD

Mr. Richard Louis Muirhead, 50, died December 21, 2010 in Pearl. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, December 24, 2010 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Pearl with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today from 4:30 -- 7 PM.
Mr. Muirhead was an electrical engineer having worked for Greif Inc. for 10 years. An electronic enthusiast, Mr. Muirhead was very knowledgeable in many areas of this field. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, hunting and fishing. He was one of the founders of A.L.S. chapter (Lou Gehrig's disease) in MS and in 2009 represented MDA in MS. He was a member of the Fleming Masonic lodge in Georgia.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Muirhead of Pearl; sons, Richard Louis Muirhead II (Candice) of Brandon and Jason Louis Muirhead (Britney) of Pearl; mother, Florence Geneva Muirhead of Pearl; step daughters, Shannon Swindoll of Baytown, TX and Shelby Clampit of Houston, TX; brother, Edward Allen Muirhead of Florence; sister, Deborah Ann Smith of Mendenhall; grandchildren, Paige Swindoll and Madison Swindoll.
