EX-SERVICE MAN DIES IN PUEBLO HOSPITAL

The body of Richard Johnson was brought here for interment. The remains were accompanied by O.L. Johnson , the father of the deceased. Richard Johnson was 30 years of age and his death was due to ``shell shock'' received while on the battle front in France. An abcess on the brain resulted and an operation was performed at a hospital in Pueblo from which death resulted.

The deceased was a brother of Mrs. Will Giles.

The funeral was held on Wednesday from the Baptist church and the remains were laid to rest in the Clayton cemetery.
