Richard O. Gast, III
(October 25, 1972 - February 5, 2010)

Richard Orville Gast, III, of Brighton, CO passed away on February 5, 2010.

He was born to Richard and Lillian Gast and Colorado was his home for the last 23 years.

Richard graduated in 1990 from Ponderosa High School and attended Metropolitan State College of Denver; graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1998 he married the only love of his life Marisha. They have been together for 16 years.

Richard left behind in this world two beautiful angels to remember him by: Brendan and Angelea. He filled his life with friends and hobbies which included; tae-kwon-do, boating, traveling and scuba diving.

Rich is survived by his parents; Richard and Lillian Gast, sisters; Pam, Carla, Rhonda, brothers; Jack and John, and several aunts, uncles and family members in Texas, Mrs. Lauretta Gast and aunts, uncles and family members of Rhode Island; father and mother-in-law Larry and Gloria Lowder, sister and brother-in-law, Christy and Wade Lowder, and family and grandparents of Denver, and lifetime friend Mr. Dustin Hannan of Parker.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Interment at St. Simeon Cemetery on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 1:30 p.m.

Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
