Richard T. McCraine

BATON ROUGE - Services for Richard Tillery McCraine will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Greenoaks with Dr. Randy Toms officiating. Graveside services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday in Kitchens Creek Baptist Cemetery, Ball.

McCraine of Baton Rouge died Thursday, Aug. 5, 1999.

He was a native of Wilkinson County, Miss., and a deacon at Winbourne Avenue Baptist Church and Park Forest Baptist Church. He was a charter member and trustee of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was retired from Ethyl Corporation after 37 years, member of Ethyl Management Club and past president of Ethyl Credit Union. He was a member of U.S. Army Medical Corps from 1942 to 1944 and a charter and a 50 year member of Fairfields Masonic Lodge No. 425. He was a member of LSU Block and Bridle Club, a cattleman and a member of Harrell-Bourgeois Hunting Club.

Survivors include one son, Roland McCraine of Zachary; one daughter, Suzanne Rome of Baton Rouge; and two grandsons.

Pallbearers will be Billy Bennett, Mike Wingard, Mike Murphy, Jordan Rome, Jonathan Rome andNeils Linschoten.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Saturday and from noon until time of services Sunday in the funeral home.
