BUDE -- Services for Riley Halford, 77, of Franklin County, who died Monday, June 4, 2001, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. today at Bude Church of God with the Rev. Al Stockton officiating.
Burial will be in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Halford was born June 7, 1923, in Franklin County, the son of James William Halford and Beulah Whittington Halford.
Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Glidden of Natchez and Barbara Bienvenu of Brandon; two sons, Glen Halford of Pearl and Jimmy Halford of Natchez; six stepdaughters, Thelma Blythe of Tennessee, Sue Craven of Pelahatchie, Charlotte Tenorio and Carolyn Halford of Pearl, Ritha Mercer and Loriene Renfrow of Natchez; three stepsons, Alton Daniels, John Daniels and Jessie Daniels, all of Natchez; 34 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren; one sister, Eloise Dewees of Texas; one brother, Kirby Halford of Eddiceton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Halford, Marc Halford, Josh Halford, Russell Halford, John Bienvenu and Tony Rouse.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Rouse, David Renfrow, Ernest Arnold III and Harley Mercer.
