Riley Young

DODSON -- Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at Zion Hill Baptist Church for Riley Young, 75, of Dodson. The Rev. E. B. Barton and Earnie Yocum officiated.

Burial was in the Zion Hill Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mr. Young died Sunday at Winnfield General Hospital after a short illness.

He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and the justice of the peace for Ward 7 in Winn Parish.

Survivors include one son, Clifford Young of West Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Butler Jordan of Winnfield and Mrs. Quint [sic Clint] Broadway from Dodson; three brothers, Hershel Young of Dodson, Osby Young of Cheneyville, and Woodrow Young of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. G. O. Cole and Mrs. R. V. Williams, both of Shreveport; and nine grandchildren.
