Rita Faye McCormack Moore

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Bro. Joe Brown and Bro. John Cooper of Liberty Baptist Church will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Rita was born on May 2, 1944 and went home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2008. She was a native of Ringgold, LA and lived in Bossier City for 43 years. She retired from the State of LA after 25 years of service.

The joy and love of her life was her family and grandchildren. She spent many hours babysitting and being involved in their games. Rita also loved vacationing and dining out with her sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, B.H. (Trigger) and Magaline McCormack, infant son, William Moore, two sisters, Mary R. Davis and Jonell Sanders and her husband Thomas.

Rita is survived by her husband Billy Moore of Bossier City, LA; two daughters, Kimberly M. Easley and husband Scott of Plain Dealing, LA, Karla Moore of Bossier City, LA and six precious grandchildren, her pride and joy, Sarah and Cody Callicoatte, Chelsea and Cole Easley, Austin and Christopher Grigg. She is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Collins and husband Ralph of Choudrant, LA, Peggy Mathews and husband Mert of Keithville, LA, brother-in-law Douglas Davis of Heflin, LA and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Russell Collins, Ryan Collins, Robert Mathews, Dale Davis, Al Sanders and Timothy Caldwell.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Wednesday Friends Lunch Club, to Dr. Dhawan and his staff, Highland Christus Schumpert , Grace Home and staff and all our friends and family for their support during our time of need.
