Rita Lynn Clark Taylor, 51, of Gloster, died Dec. 31, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, La.
Visitation continues at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster until services today at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Dennis Fink and the Rev. Charles Nash officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery in Gloster.
Mrs. Taylor was born Sept. 14, 1949, in Wilkinson County. She was the daughter of Johnnie Whittington Clark Kellam of Gloster and the late Charles Walter Clark.
She was an accounts payable auditor with Georgia-Pacific Corp. Gloster Plywood Plant, where she had work[ed] for 32 years. She was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church of Gloster. She was a supporter of the Natchez Children's Home and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Julius ``Ceasar'' Rollinson.
Survivors include her mother; her husband of 29 years, Lynn Taylor of Gloster; one son, Kory Taylor of Hattiesburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Bobby Caston of Baton Rouge, and Jean and Edward Havard of Natchez; father-in-law, Charles J. Taylor of Gloster; two sisters-in-law, Tina Brumfield and husband Pat of McComb and Roxie Skenderis and husband Bill of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers-in-law, Tim Taylor and wife Mari of Vicksburg and Mark Taylor of Gloster; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
