Robbie S. Allen Atkinson

SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services celebrating the life of Robbie S. Allen Atkinson will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2009, at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Avenue. Officiating will be Rev. Elton Pennington. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home.

Robbie was born March 23, 1927 in Waldron, AR and passed away Friday, June 26, 2009. She was a member of Oakcrest Christian Church. Robbie retired as Office Manager for Aneca Federal Credit Union. Family and friends will miss her dearly.

Her first husband, Ira Richard Allen, mother, Thelma Snider, and mother-in-law, Verda M. Allen, preceded Robbie in death. Survivors are her husband, Horace C. Atkinson; daughter, Frances Penn and husband, Mike; grandsons, Michael A. Penn and wife, Kelly and Jeremy D. Penn and wife, Shelly; three great grandchildren, Brendon, Madison and Briana; and her very special friend, Beverly Wessler.
