Services for Robert S. Arnold Sr. of Meadville were made at the Bunkley Baptist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Arnold was born Sep. 3, 1929, and was preceded in death by his parents and a son.
Mr. Arnold died at the River Oaks Hospital in Jackson of heart failure at the age of 64. He was born in Franklin County and was a member of the Bunkley Baptist Church. He also served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a retired truck driver.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Arnold of Meadville; one son, Robert S. Arnold Jr. of Killeen, Texas; two daughters, Judy Wilkinson and Jo Ann Seale of Meadville; three brothers, B.J. Arnold of Knoxville; Rodney Arnold of Quentin; Roger Dale Arnold of Smithdale; three sisters, Eddie Mae Myers of Eddiceton, Earnestine Cater of Natchez, Pauline Thornton of Des Moines, Iowa, and seven grandchildren.
Franklin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
